In September of 1998, we provided the "Central Feature"
at the Alexandra Palace Self Build Show, hosted by "Build
it" magazine. The central feature was an example of one of
the large range of "Garden Lodges" which Benfield ATT
manufacture and erect.
Possible uses for our garden and
leisure lodges:
Domestic Uses: Additional accommodation without moving home -
possible granny flat or teenagers retreat.
Offices at home - economic sense and now an easy reality with
the use of modern day computer technology. ·
Gymnasium/health block - incorporating a gymnasium, sauna, shower
block and plunge pool. ·
Games Room - snooker, table tennis with home bar, for only little
more cost per month than joining the local clubs.
Garden Room - combine an external sundeck, with internal lounge,
potting shed and adjoining greenhouse, and you have the ultimate
garden room hat all the family can benefit from. ·
Jacuzzi Room - enjoy a relaxing Jacuzzi with all year round use
by installing it in a purpose made insulated garden building,
if its warm, simply remove the insulated external wall panels,
if not remain cosy and warm behind well insulated walls.

Long Life Flexibility with Economy
Our lodges can be purchased in their most basic form, then upgraded
when required to suit specific requirements. You can save on the
initial cost, whilst maintaining flexibility to enhance the structure
at any point in the future.
All lodges are designed to take "office loading" so
lodges can easily be used for as many purposes throughout its
long life span.
Design & Size
All garden and leisure lodges share the same attributes: ·
Large range of standard designs and shapes in both single and
two stories. Using the unique "flexi lodge" design system,
customer's individual design requirements can be met, with instant
cost feedback. Benfield ATT's unique system offers almost limitless
design opportunities, leaving you the customer with the maximum
amount of choice for deciding upon, size, shape, window and door
locations, and whether you want the lodge for summer only or for
all year round usage.
Easy Erection
Garden and leisure lodges are simple to erect if you wish to undertake
your own building work. Alternatively, we have a large network
of distributors who would be happy to visit you and discuss your
requirements, survey your intended site, help you with your choice
and provide a full building service for you - see the list of
distributors for the company nearest to you at the end of this
specification. Alternatively, a post code location map is provided
on the rear of each of the design booklets.
Delivery Time
Lodges can be ordered and supplied within one working week if
required
A Specification for all Locations
Choice of window, door orientation, etc. All lodges are bolted
or screw fixed together allowing for removal and relocation if
required.
Integral insulated ground floor joist frame capable of carrying
office loading as well as domestic.
Simple foundation design for ease
of installation
Uneven or sloping sites pose no problem as lodge stands on system
of mini stilts. · Uneven foundations pose no problem, as
mini stilts can be site cut to suit any level irregularities.
Highest quality softwoods from ecologically
managed forests
All structural timber if fully treated - full specification of
treatments available from your local distributor.
Your Choice
All lodges can be purchased as a "structure only" with
full insulation and internal finishing kits being available at
a later date if the design purpose of the lodge is to be altered.

things to different people depending upon their specific circumstances.
